Customize Your PDF Documents in 60 Seconds
Pick a style, set your colors, and configure default notes — so every quote and invoice looks polished from day one.
Your PDF documents — quotes, invoices, load calculations, panel schedules — are what clients print, forward to their spouse, or hand to their bank. They should look good.
Where to find it
Settings → PDF Document Templates.
Pick a style
Three options per document type:
Modern — clean layout, accent color bar, contemporary feel.
Classic — traditional format, more formal. Good for commercial clients.
Minimal — stripped down, maximum whitespace. No accent color.
Use the tabs at the top to switch between document types: Invoice, Quote, Panel Schedule, Load Calculation. Each can have its own style.
Accent color
If you chose Modern or Classic, pick an accent color. This tints headers, borders, and section dividers. Match it to your brand for a cohesive look.
Font and paper size
Font: Helvetica (clean, modern), Times (traditional), or Courier (technical look).
Paper: Letter (US standard) or A4 (international).
Section visibility
Toggle which sections appear on your PDFs:
Company logo
Contractor info (your address, phone, license)
Client info
Payment methods
Terms & conditions
Notes
Most people leave everything on. But if you're sending a quick preliminary quote, you might hide T&C to keep it short.
Default notes and terms
While you're here, go to Settings → Business Profile → Document Defaults. You'll find two text boxes:
Default notes — appears at the bottom of every document. Example: "Thank you for your business. Please contact us with any questions."
Default terms & conditions — your standard T&C. The platform ships with a factory default, but you should customize it to match your actual business terms.
You can override both on any individual document. These are just the starting defaults.
For electrical companies
The service report PDF template tab only appears if you're on a team plan. Same concept — pick a style, choose visible sections.
